The People you Meet

What if we got to choose who we meet. Is that even possible?

It doesn't need to be perfect it just needs to be true
It's strange. The people you meet, the friends you make may all seem to be by chance or fate. Whether or not there was a friendship or special bond. You could very well one day down the road, realize how far you've grown apart from some of the people you used to see every day. Some people you get to know for a very short time, while others you end up being the closest friends. But there's no control for who you meet and at what time in your life. Growing up brings so many questions and "ahh" moments. Growing up is really (really) weird.

A Thought from Today

Throughout these years, I have never had any really close friends, at least none that I can share my feelings and thoughts with. I think it must be me, but I can't seem to find where my problem is. It does take me quite a while to begin to trust someone, and sometimes I try to just let go and not be so cautious. But obviously that's when I make the most mistakes. Maybe I had this system going that worked well for me and I should just stick to that. Be that same old me. But there's always that part of me thats hopes to find someone that I can talk to just like I can with my parents. Without them judging me, just listening, sharing viewpoints, or telling me I'm wrong. I don't know what Im saying.. lol i got distracted. sigh.

Quote + What I think

"You know what’s weird? Day by day, nothing seems to change, but pretty soon…everything’s different.

- Bill Watterson

Random thoughts:
I am still really young and everyday I change my mind about things. But I always try to remember that nothing waits for you and if you really want something, there's nothing you can do, except work hard for it.

I like things like this....HAHAHA This dog is just really weird.

These few years seems to have flown by extremely fast. We can't always live in the moment and sometimes we just don't want to. Then there are some days that we wish would last forever. Living in the moment always clashes with I have homework. I wish I could lie on the beach, stare up at the sky and listen to the wind. In these moments, time is still ticking away. but it slows down and everything becomes strangely peaceful and quiet. I like star gazing too but somehow I get a bit dizzy from it. But, besides that, the serene silence of the night is just so pleasant.

Social Smiles

Have you ever noticed that some people don't smile with their eyes? But can laugh at everything you say? It's actually true, in psychology's expressive behavioral explanation, the smiles in this senario is called a "social smile". When you are truly happy, your eyes smile too (just like the cat above...just kidding, you know what I mean haha). I guess people can always fake this as well, so it's not really a reliable sign of sincerity.
